Special Fire Fighting
Procedures: Containers should be
cooled with water to prevent vapor pressure build up. Use equipment or shielding, as required, to protect personnel
from bursting, rupturing or venting containers.
Unusual Fire and
Explosion Hazards: At elevated temperatures
(over 54C-130° F) containers exposed to direct flame or
heat contact should be cooled with water to prevent weakening of container
structure.

Effects Of Overexposure: High concentrations may produce headache,
dizziness and nausea.

irritation and dermatitis.
Ingestion: Contains 2-Butoxyethanol, which if ingested
in significant quantities may result in red blood cell hemolysis.
Inhalation: Causes respiratory irritation.

aggravated by exposure: Preexisting skin or
eye disorders may be aggravated by exposure to this product.
Emergency
First Aid Procedures:
Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for fifteen
minutes while holding eyelids open.
Remove contact lenses prior to washing.
Get medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush skin with water; follow by washing
with soap and water. If irritation
occurs, get medical attention. Do not
reuse clothing until cleaned.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and provide oxygen if
breathing is difficult. Give artificial
respiration if not breathing. Get
medical attention.
Ingestion: Get medical attention.
Note to
physician: There is no specific antidote. Treatment of overexposure should be directed
at the control of symptoms and the clinical condition.

Decomposition Products: Carbon Dioxide, carbon
monoxide, and additional toxic chemicals may be formed in small amounts.
Conditions

flames, or sparks. Dropping of
containers may cause bursting.
Steps To
Be Taken In Case Material Is Released Or Spilled: Remove all sources of ignition and ventilate
area. Soak up spill with an inert
absorbent and place into a designated
disposal container. Consult local
regulatory agency for proper disposition of material.
Waste
Disposal Method: Do not puncture or incinerate
containers. When contents are depleted
continue to depress button until all gas is expelled. Dispose of container in accordance with local, state, and federal
regulations.
Respiratory
Protection (Type): None required if good ventilation is
maintained. If exposure exceeds
occupational exposure limits (Sec. II), use a NIOS approved respirator to
prevent overexposure.
Ventilation: Local exhaust is adequate under normal
conditions, mechanical ventilation is optional.

Protection: Chemical safety glasses are recommended*.

Protective Equipment: Wear impervious clothing
to prevent skin contact.

breathing vapor. Keep away from heat
and flame. Use with adequate
ventilation. Do not puncture or
incinerate containers. Do not expose to
direct sunlight or store at temperatures above 130° F (54° C). Store as Level 1 Aerosol (NFPA 30B).

product: Baseboard Cleaner & Wax
Stripper Aerosol contains toxic chemicals in quantities subject to the
reporting requirements under section 313(see below). Effective January 1, 1989,
any person who sells or otherwise distributes a mixture or trade name product
containing toxic chemicals must provide written notice to the recipient with
the first shipment in each calendar year.
If the recipient repackages or otherwise redistributes this product a
notice indicating that this product is subject to the reporting requirements of
Section 313, including the reporting chemical name/category, CAS number and
percent by weight, must accompany the shipment. Please note that the notification letter must be attached and
remain attached to the Material Safety Data Sheet.
